The deep web, or invisible web, is all of the web accessible content that is not indexed by the major search engines. This includes content that is dynamically generated in response to queries, or where the content owner has requested that it is not indexed. Deep web sources include company databases, official registers, tender databases, court reports, telephone directories and many other sources of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
Note that the deep web is distinct from the dark web which can only be accessed using specific tools.
